Redstone Pottery

In 1982 Redstone Pottery was founded by my father, Robert Nothhouse. I was born in 1984. As a young girl growing up in Missouri, it seemed only natural to be surrounded by large amounts of clay. I would come out to visit my dad's workshop and squish clay around in my hands. I loved making fun "sculptures" that my dad was sweet enough to fire for me. Clay was always a part of my life. Little did I know that I would one day return home to study ceramics with my dad. I am so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from him. He taught me how to throw on the wheel, process clay, and most importantly how to create his 6 one-of-a kind glazes. In a world where so little is truly created by hand, it feels wonderful to be connected to my craft from "cradle to grave". Each piece is made with love, knowing that my dad's creativity and passion will live on.
All pieces are safe for the microwave, dishwasher, and oven, as well as being non toxic and lead free.
