Robbin Loomas

 

Robbin Loomas, a working photographer for over 25 years, received her BFA in photography from the Kansas City Art Institute. Working as a freelance photographer in Kansas City, then as head of photography for University Relations at KU, she now has her own photo studio, Sterling Image, in Lawrence, Kansas.

Robbin’s images are each created differently using a combination of photography, painting, and technology. After enhancing the photographs digitally, using a variety of computer programs, she prints the images on canvas and applies natural acrylics or oil paints.
