We’re Kim Bagwill and Matt Adrian, two married artists and designers based in Los Angeles, California. Since 2008 we’ve been creating art, books, stationery and gifts that amuse and delight us, inspired by the idea that beauty and humor are not mutually exclusive. Connecting with people who love what we do remains a constant source of joy. Matt’s avian artwork has been featured in numerous design blogs, magazines and movies, and his book “Guide to Troubled Birds” has been published by Penguin Random House. The humorous and anthropomorphically absurd Frantic Meerkat stationery is Kim’s specialty, and our line of journals have proven to be runaway bestsellers. Last year we welcomed Old Tom Foolery and Modern Lore into our family. Old Tom Foolery’s “unsappy, uncrappy” stationery adds a dash of wicked fun, while the gorgeous Modern Lore combines a modern aesthetic with lush photography.
