Gloria Van Dixhorn

I have been working with clay for over 30 years and throwing pottery for over 25 years. I believe that using a hand-made object reminds us that the world is a living place. Each piece is completely hand thrown, trimmed and glazed by me. Although some of my pieces may look similar each is a one of a kind creation. My designs are applied in a four step process using hand formulated glazes giving the work its unique look. Each piece is food, dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. I currently live in Madison, Wisconsin where I studied art and art education at the University of Wisconsin.
