Konza Fire Creations

Jim Ginavan
Topeka, Kansas

With degrees in Education and Fine Arts from Kansas State University, Jim Ginavan began as an artist using printmaking and drawing to make his mark.  It was through teaching that Jim found his love for ceramics.  As things often happen, in his search to explore this new found love, Jim was led to the doorstep of a local Raku artist. Jim now explores the ceramic form through a process of Raku and experimental or alternative firing methods in his own studio.
