Did you know unlike many songbirds, both male and female cardinals sing and only the male birds in this species have this bright red color? Cardinal birds generally tend to gather in big flocks of around 70 to 100 birds and they do not migrate during the winter months.

Beautifully crafted one at a time. Every step of the carving and painting process is done by hand with great attention to detail and as a finishing touch a French paste wax is buffed into the finish until a rich luster is obtained.
