Richard S. Jones of Studio Paran Inc. uses traditional glassmaking techniques as an integral part of each of his hand-blown designs. Explorations of form and color have always marked Richard’s glass artistry. Jones’ abiding interest in new directions has lately steered him toward Chinese ceramics. Chinese characters and motifs adorn his work. In all his pieces he seeks balance, harmony, and a sense of peace. Objects that bear witness to the silence inherent in all things.
