Nichole Collins - Earrings - Silver Rectangle with Vermeil Rectangle

Top rectangles are 24K yellow gold vermeil. Bottom rectangles and French hooks are high polished sterling silver. Vermeil is a type of gold finish that is composed of a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion must be a hefty 2.5 microns.

The two layers of rectangles are attached at the french hooks only, allowing for movement. The vermeil rectangles are hammered by hand for texture and depth, creating a unique pattern. 

Measurements: 1/2” long and 1/4” wide.
