Since then, she has been working tirelessly on perfecting her craft with yarn, and found her passion in animal plush yarn art. Her work has been featured at a number of events and, she has also had the opportunity to instruct multiple workshops in Japan.
Misato Saarna is a young yarn animal plush artist who was taught by Kana. She has been making animal plush yarn art along with Kana starting from the beginning of 2021. Misato was born and raised in Japan, and is married to a husband from Kansas City, Kansas. She finds her passion in sharing Japanese arts and crafts with those outside of Japan and has been able to do this with Kana’s help and teaching.
As yarn animal plush artists, they find joy in creating cute and realistic animals out of yarn. They love the fluffy texture of yarn, and how each design carries with it a slightly different expression, which makes each piece unique and one-of-a-kind.
