Jan is often inspired and excited by vibrant colors. Naturally, bright shiny birds, such as peacocks, hummingbirds, and cardinals, catch her attention the most. Jan only beads what inspires her. She has been a painter since she was very young and approaches each work with the same mindset. She works by beading the structure and filling it with stuffing. On some of the smaller structures the shape alone holds it together.
