This mixed-media piece features an anatomical heart adorned with flowers. Each piece by Van Leeuwen begins with photographs of abstract paint taken of the top of his art table. He then pulls that into Photoshop and creates elements to merge with the image. He then prints the image out and collages them onto wood. Lastly he paints overtop the image. Each piece is one of a kind and has different coloration and background.
