"Immediately after a visit to the Rothko Chapel we drove through a torrential rain storm crawling into Jamaica Beach, Texas. There appeared this beautiful squall line over flattened seas and a darkened beach. That intricate pattern along the cloud reminded me of Rothko’s paintings."
